    USADA is seeking a dedicated and driven person to help our organization fulfill its mission to "Stand with athletes to champion their right to clean sport, inspire true and healthy sport, and promote the integrity of sport.” This is an incredibly exciting time to join Team USADA, as we continue to grow our Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Anti-Doping program and work to support major international competitions such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024 (Paris), 2026 (Milan), and 2028 (Los Angeles). New team members will have the chance to help ensure USADA is well-positioned in the near and long term for these opportunities as we look to the future with our efforts to protect clean athletes. With the 2028 Games on domestic soil, there will also be opportunities and growth potential over the years for USADA team members to underpin the organizing committee’s commitment to a clean Games.

    REPORTS TO: Sr. Data Engineer FLSA: Non-Exempt SUPERVISES: N/A

    JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Analyze Source data, Validate/Test Data loaded into Data Warehouse or Staging environment. The analyst needs to understand data exceptionally well to make sure we provide the correct information to business users; This includes understanding the high-level requirements and converting them into technical documents. USADA is in the process of modernizing the data architecture landscape to better provide consolidated, unified, and quality data integrity and reporting across the company’s systems. Responsible for writing SQL queries, Testing the Data end to end, building Data Visualization Reports, Maintain Technical Documentation, have a thorough understanding of an ETL tool Preferably SSIS/Azure DF. Must do data source analysis, understand structured and unstructured data sources, and implement highly optimized data flows.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Respond to business needs for reporting solutions and develop and deliver BI(Business Intelligence) solutions.

    Optimize and trouble shoot database performance.

    Assist in development of modern cloud-first data structure.

    Implement and maintain data retention policies and procedures.

    Assist with and update project plans for technology projects, including project objectives, requirements, specifications, schedules, systems impacted, and personnel impacted

    Work with project personnel, to include vendors, partners, and clients to ensure project deadlines are met.

    Collaborate with all departments to ensure data validity and transparency are maintained.

    Ensure accuracy, availability, and security of data within USADA systems.

    GENERAL:

    Maintain confidentiality at all times.

    Projects and other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    BS / BA degree in a related field or equivalent and applicable experience

    3+ years of experience in the IT Industry with Data Analysis, Development, Testing and Maintenance

    Demonstrated proficiency in writing complex SQL's

    Cloud implementation and operations experience

    Experience in technology project management

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Creativity, initiative and desire to own and drive projects

    Moderate proficiency in MS Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    SQL Server Administration and previous DBA background is a Plus

    T-SQL & SQL Server Development skills including creating and modifying Stored Procedures

    SQL Server & SQL Query performance tuning and optimization

    Strong experience in SSAS & SSRS development

    Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology Testing including unit, integration, performance and regression
