    JOB SUMMARY: Create content and education programming based on educational theory utilizing effective strategies to ensure that, primarily, the diverse community of Health Professionals that interact with athletes and the health and wellness needs of sport, but also, secondarily, Doping Control Officers (DCOs), USADA Registered Testing Pool (RTP), Clean Athlete Program (CAP), and Education Pool (EP) athletes, junior athletes, coaches, National Governing Bodies (NGBs), athlete support personnel (ASP), and internal employees receive education and essential resources. Act as an integral part of the Education team, in collaboration with the USADA Science Team, to captivate and engage audiences around the importance of anti-doping through clean sport messaging. Develop a wide range of educational resources, including, but not limited to eLearning courses through multiple platforms; script writing for several courses annually; creation of face-to-face and webinar presentations; and highly technical publications for athlete and athlete support personnel.

    INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Identify strategic opportunities for collaboration and efficiencies between the USADA Elite Education and Science teams.

    Work closely with the USADA Science team to understand educational needs within the health professional community and proactively identify and engage opportunities for health professional education (i.e. annual conferences for sport medicine professionals, continuing education programs, etc.).

    Develop a pool of Health Professional expert educators that can be engaged to deliver engaging anti-doping education to meet the demands of the health professional community.

    Work closely with external partners to expand usage of the USADA’s HealthPro Advantage CME course throughout the medical, academic, and sport communities.

    Assume all responsibilities associated with USADA’s HealthPro Advantage eLearning course to include:

    Annual updates to the platform and content based on the evolution of medicine as it relates to the World Anti-Doping Code, Prohibited List, TUE standards, and other USADA-driven requirements as they pertain to the anti-doping rules and responsibilities.

    Review and monitor contractual updates with external partners.

    Maintain and report statistics for all users who participate and/or successfully complete the course(s).

    Working in close collaboration with the USADA Science Team to support the development and enhancement of athlete and athlete support personnel resources such as Global Drug Reference Online, Supplement Connect and the High Risk list, and the Therapeutic Use Exemption process

    Facilitate pathways for potential distribution channels and processes to increase education reach to the health professional community.

    Become familiar with and monitor global Health Professional anti-doping education programs to understand how those programs and/content can be used effectively in the US.

    SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Create and provide education sessions (including, but not limited to in- person presentations, webinars, and education booths) for Health Professionals, Testing Pool athletes, junior athletes, NGBs, coaches, and athlete support personnel involved in the Olympic and Paralympic movement.

    Responsible for maintaining Elite Education session information within USADA’s internal database and providing feedback to the team, compiling reports, and writing session summaries

    Create printed and digital materials that incorporate educational and clean sport messaging including but not limited to the newsletter, USADA Clean Sport Handbook, USADA Pocket Guide, TrueSport Nutrition Guide, TrueSport Supplement Guide, and Coach’s Brochure for external stakeholders including the USOPC, National Governing Bodies, and Sport contacts.

    Research, develop, and execute multiple tutorials each year to effectively engage and educate different audiences. Identify and create new content and tutorials, as needed.

    Assist with the development of multimedia projects to describe anti-doping processes (e.g. sample collection) and other frequently asked questions.

    Efficiently construct innovative and engaging digital content.

    Create and develop communications for delivery to athletes on an ongoing basis; year-round collaboration with internal departments to aggregate information and confirm the accuracy of content for print, presentations, and digital education materials, including social media.

    Assist in all pre-Games education (i.e. Olympics, Paralympics, Pan-American Games, Parapan American Games, Youth Olympic Games, and others).

    Monitor trends, research, and educational theory to ensure the effective evolution of education content and strategies.

    Travel to various locations and provide educational presentations on anti-doping policies to athletes and athlete support personnel.

    Provide input for potential distribution channels and processes as needed.

    Manage inventory and material distribution (print and electronic) for education purposes.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Knowledge of various educational methods, strategies, and theories to engage stakeholders effectively.

    Familiarity with educational technology, programs, and tools and the ability to integrate them into the teaching and learning process.

    Skills in effective and clear communication, both verbal and written, among diverse audience populations.

    Efficient time-management skills to balance content development, reporting, and other responsibilities effectively.

    Ability to identify challenges and proactively adapt when challenges arise.

    Ability to work flexible hours and travel, as needed, approximately 25%.

    Sensitivity to cultural diversity and the ability to create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment.
