Logistics Operations Coordinator
REPORTS TO: DCO Operations Supervisor FLSA: Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY: Will be responsible for all shipping logistics, procurement and Doping Control Officer(DCO) engagement initiatives within the DCO Operations department. Primarily this roles responsibility will include the management of USADA’s shipping and inventory room which is responsible for the shipping, receiving, tracking, acquiring and other distribution processes within the DCO Operations department. Secondly this role will oversee DCO engagement initiatives as a direct point of contact for Doping Control Officers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shipping Logistics
Manage the Operations distribution room
Monitor and plan weekly shipping logistics for the Distribution Administrative Assistant
Monitor and approve all inventory purchase orders
Identify innovative and cost-effective procurement strategies
Preparation of data for negotiations of carrier services, equipment supplies and all vendors to negotiate advantageous terms
Identify cost reduction opportunities through data driven reports
Maintain strong and ethical relationships with transit companies, supply vendors and clients.
Create distribution and procurement standard operating procedures
Engagement
Create and evaluate departmental and athlete surveys and report and analyze findings
Lead and facilitate the DCO Committee, including organizing meetings, creating agendas and working with DCO Committee members
Develop and update project plans for DCO engagement initiatives, including DCO Dollar Program, DCO Newsletter, and material showcasing the exceptional of our DCOs
Coordinate and facilitate DCO Conference Calls, including, domestic and international DCOs
Plan the logistics of USADA’s bi-annual DCO Conferences, including theme, travel logistics, constructing conference agenda, and facilitating internal working group
Additional Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the Distribution Administrative Assistant, to include assisting in the hiring process, onboarding, coaching, performance management, time off/payroll approvals, etc.
Provide prompt and superior quality customer services to DCOs, and Sample Collection personnel by answering calls and emails
Provide general support to USADA DCOs
GENERAL:
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Recommend necessary updates and revisions to USADA protocol and procedures as related to Doping Control
Projects and other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in managing supply chain operations, strongly preferred
BS/BA degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or other applicable field preferred; or equivalent applicable experience(Preferred but not required)

Physical requirements: Standing, crouching, lifting, pushing/pulling, up to 50% of the day, on a regular basis. Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs periodically.
