    The National Wildlife Health Center (https://www.nwhc.usgs.gov/information_desk/) is a biomedical laboratory dedicated to assessing the impacts of disease on wildlife, and provides national leadership to safeguard wildlife and ecosystem health. Duties: As a maintenance worker/mechanic with the National Wildlife Health Center, some of your duties will include:

    -Installing, repairing, and testing electrical systems

    -Installing, modifying, and repairing plumbing systems

    -Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, steam boilers, hot water boilers, incinerators, water chillers, back-up generators, and HEPA-filtered air exhaust systems

    -Operating government-owned vehicles, including automobiles, skid steers, garden tractors, and trucks less than 10 tons
