Office Location: Rancho Cordova, CA (this is an in-office role and no remote work is planned). Candidates must be comfortable commuting to this office location on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions for goods and services • Establishing and maintaining confidential accounting files and employer/business files • Processing daily Accounts Payable (A/P) statements/reports with computer programs • Verifying coding and obtaining signatures for specific forms and records (e.g.BOL) • Data-entering invoices for payment (e.g. pingHQ) • Preparing vendor checks for mailing and listing all vendor checks in a log tracking book • Producing and preparing daily, weekly, monthly financial statements/reports for Manager • Verifying transactions comply with financial policies and procedures established by the Company • Upholding professionalism by providing courteous customer service to visitors, clients, and vendors • Time management, organizational, and ability to work independently with prioritizing tasks • Must be enthusiastic, transparent, trustworthy, and honest • Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required • Associates Degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field a plus) • Two or more years Accounts Payable (A/P) and/or accounting experience required • General understanding of accounting practices and principles • Experience with automated accounting programs and systems • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook), and knows how to navigate GSutie • QuickBooks experience preferred • Excellent computer skills using 10-Key by touch and ability to type 40 WPM • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data • Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered Compensation: $17 hourly
