    USKO Logistics is a rapidly growing 3PL organization. We are looking for an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to join our excellent team. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, reliable, ambitious, and eager to put in the time and effort needed to take our company to the next level! It is a full time job. Remote duty performance is negotiable. Responsibilities: • Provides customers tariff classification, valuation, marking, general customs and other government agency • Guides customers through CBP requirements and processes by preparing and submitting documents, determining tariff and duty payments, and tracking shipments • Classifies shipments, inputs data, and makes corrections and adjustments • Resolves customer problems promptly, professionally and in compliance with the law • Provides guidance to importers to help them understand and meet CBP and other government agency rules and regulations • Processes post entry work including: ruling requests, CF 28's, refunds, protests, and drawbacks • Prepares billings for entry related services • Works with CBP to resolve problems • Works within the department to ensure all transactions are processed on a daily basis • Stays up-to-date on customs and other government agency changes • We anticipate to get around 150 entries per month at the start of these operations. • Performs additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications: • The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively via email, verbally, and in presentations, tailoring the message to the appropriate level of audience using easy-to-understand terminology • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload, and adjust to meet business needs • Excellent attention to details and ability to process complex details in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines • Manages complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally meeting our commitments for service delivery excellence • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong multi-cultural understanding • Ability to initiate activities independently, learn and achieve results • Knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) • Seven years of relevant import/export experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Currently holds an active U.S. license as a Customs Broker • Industry expert in international freight forwarding focused on high volume accounts • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly
