Position: Tableau Developer with LinkedIn Id

Worksite: Chicago IL

Duration: 12+Months

Top REQUIRED skills:

-Hands on Tableau version 9 or above

-Good exposure on the data side, DB2, Red shift, SQL

-Best practice to curate the data, Agile approach

-Look for good communication skills

-Any BI tool background would be very beneficial

-Tableau is good with visualization

-60% with the business, 40% with the BI team from a communication

DUTIES:

Create reports and dashboards from Tableau on DESKTOP and SERVER (server is already procured-no installation skills needed)

Tableau desktops are already installed

Create them to be more user friendly, coming from other departments as new requirements

Strong Agile approach

Hands developer is needed, little to no ramp up time

No functional consultants

3 different departments-Data Mart, Finance, and Revenue. Meet their requirements and help them how to use that.

Open to interviewing through Skype but must be on-site 100% of the time

Make sure that the candidate create content in the desktop and making it usable within the server. Did customization to make that happen

Required Skill Sets & Qualifications:

Ø 7-10 years of BI experience
Ø 4+ years of experience in Tableau Development – demonstrated hands-on development experience
Ø Extensive experience in Tableau Desktop and preferably Tableau Server
Ø In-depth knowledge of visualization best practices
Ø Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Ø Deep understanding of data warehouse and data mart concepts.
Ø In-depth and hands on experience with Tableau administrative functions including publishing, security, etc.
Ø Strong database knowledge of SQL, stored procedures and triggers. Master SQL skills and ability to troubleshoot
Ø Working knowledge of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
Ø Ability to identify and extract appropriate data sets from various systems, proficient in designing, collecting and analyzing large data sets
Ø Familiarity or Knowledge of Hadoop big data ecosystems
Ø Ensure high performance solutions. Able to performance tune Tableau Data Source and Applications
Ø Ability to identify common user questions and create appropriate How-To documentation for Knowledgebase
Ø Qualified Associate or Certified Professional Tableau 9 or higher
