    JOB TITLE: Finance Analyst

    DIVISION: Corporate - Finance

    LOCATION OF WORK: Seattle, WA

    TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS: Minimal travel (<10%)

    DESCRIPTION:

    USNC is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will provide financial, accounting, and operational support for the company. The position will report to the FP&A Manager. 

    We are a small team and require all employees to be multi-disciplined and open to tackling a variety of tasks and projects. The business analyst should have superb attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to be a team player are key attributes to be successful in this position.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze financial data and create financial models to assist management decision making 
    • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify tends and make recommendations to management 
    • Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting 
    • Work with cross-functional team members, supporting accounting, finance, and operations 
    • Assist with developing optimization strategies 
    • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools 
    • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards 
    • Identify cost saving strategies, and assist in the implementation of management approved strategies 
    • Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes, monthly, quarterly and annually 
    • Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion 
    • Influence stakeholders to support business projects

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2-5 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field. 
    • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent 
    • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

     

    PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

    • Track record of working with business owners to develop and define key business questions and build data sets that answer those questions 
    • Strengths in attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously 
    • Confident analytical and communication skills with an ability to articulate complex financial views to business teams 
    • Ability to work quickly and accurately in an ambiguous environment 
    • Advanced Excel & business modelling skills (pivot tables, V-look ups, Macros, etc.) 
    • Experience with analytical and reporting software such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.

    SALARY RANGE: $82k - $92k

    COMPENSATION: This position is eligible to participate in our performance bonus plan.
