    DESCRIPTION:

    USNC-Tech is a small, rapidly growing company with innovative programs that marry nuclear and aerospace engineering, two notoriously sophisticated fields that haven't historically collaborated.     As CAD and PLM Administrator, you'll own the development and implementation of key systems contributing to all USNC-Tech's bleeding edge projects. You'll work with vendors to make sure NX and Teamcenter are configured and deployed in the most usable way for our programs. For active systems, you'll be our engineers' go-to for issues with the tools ranging from license problems to mentorship on capabilities to process improvements. As the engineering team grows, so too will our administration needs, and you will be responsible for identifying when and how that should happen. You'll have real, functional impact on how we do our engineering and on all of the products we develop. 

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with our supplier to architect and implement a Teamcenter solution that supports business and engineering needs  
    • Constantly evaluate team usage of Teamcenter and NX, identify opportunities for process improvement throughout the product lifecycle and implement new processes 
    • Maintain accessibility to Teamcenter, NX, and associated systems for all team members 
    • Scale solutions (e.g. licensing) as business needs dictate 
    • Provide user support for NX and Teamcenter, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as well as mentoring users on advanced features 
    • Identify when and how the CAD/PLM team should grow and, working with management, execute on that vision  
    • Assist with CAD/PLM application upgrades, testing, and evaluations.

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in STEM 
    • Expert in NX and Teamcenter; 5+ years of experience working with both 
    • 1+ years administering CAD/PLM tools 
    • Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) 
    • Experience working with manufacturing, assembly, and test staff/vendors to ensure CAD products conform to standards and expectations 
    • Experience developing, coding, and deploying user improvements for CAD/PLM software using Java, Python, C++, and/or Visual Basic. 
    • Commitment to an inclusive and collaborative team environment 
    • Passion for advancing the commercial space industry and human spaceflight 
    • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated by proactively identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in a fast-moving environment 
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to high level stakeholders and customers

    SALARY RANGE: 140k-157k

    COMPENSATION: This position is eligible to participate in our performance bonus plan.
