    JOB TITLE: HR Business Partner

    DIVISION: Corporate - Operations

    LOCATION OF WORK & TRAVEL: Seattle, WA

    DESCRIPTION:

    Areas of focus for our HR Business Partner will be training and development, employee relations, domestic and international compliance and employee engagement across a diversified, global workforce. The USNC Human Resources team is committed to delivering critical programs to management and employees that align with the needs and strategic objectives of the organization. 

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build, lead, and drive a variety of HR priorities and programs across the organization. 
    • Use data and insights in partnership with business leaders to improve employee sense of belonging, team and cross-functional team engagement, and optimize performance. 
    • Take a proactive approach with client group(s) to anticipate, assess, and provide people and talent solutions in relation to business needs, with guidance as needed. 
    • Serve as a business partner to employees and managers on a wide variety of topics such as training, policy interpretations, career development, conflict management, and other areas impacting employee productivity and/or morale. 
    • Support the development and implementation of talent management initiatives and programs across the organization. 
    • Partner within the HR & Recruiting Team to provide service and resolve for any recurring theme(s) for team members and managers. 
    • Lead or assist programs and priorities within the HR & Recruiting Team, as needed.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 3 of those in an HR business partner role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
    • Prior significant experience and knowledge in compliance 
    • At least two years of Global HR experience 
    • Ability to create and maintain trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization 
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills 
    • Strong organization and program management skills 
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail

     

    PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred. 
    • Experience working in other HR specialties preferred.

    SALARY RANGE: 90k-120k

    COMPENSATION: This position is eligible to participate in our performance bonus plan.
