OVERVIEW
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: detail oriented; comfortable working directly with customers, drivers, and team members; great computer skills (mainly Excel); comfortable handling multiple accounts; must have at least 2 years of Operations Management experience and working with independent contractors.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 25% of the time or as needed visits to customer locations in Bellingham, MA.
WORK LOCATION: 190 Mechanic St., Bellingham, MA 02019
SHIFT DAYS: Mon-Fri; days can vary as needed to meet business demands.
SHIFT HOURS: 7am-5pm; hours can vary as needed to meet business demands.
DESCRIPTION: The Operations Manager provides overall management and coordination to ensure all company goals are met for a particular operation(s) and client(s). This position is responsible to identify, transmit and satisfy our customers’ needs by contracting and utilizing Independent Contractors as delivery drivers delivering products from our clients’ location(s) to designated locations in predetermined time definite route(s). This is an entry level management position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: In this position you should have logistic/courier route management experience as well as a background in contracting drivers, route scheduling and customer service. Additional Operations Manager requirements:
