    JOB SCOPE:

    The Marketing Manager works to Research, Develop, Implement, and Manage marketing activities and the marketing team by collaborating with vendors, customers, and industry partners. The Marketing Manager supervises the Marketing team’s production in accordance with sales goals and KPI’s.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · In accordance with UTAK’s policies and applicable laws and regulations, select, reward, discipline, train and develop employees.

    · Plan and direct performance of staff: Motivate employees, assist in goal setting, provide performance feedback, address complaints and resolve problems.

    · Support with competitive analysis and review.

    · Deliver quality results and timely completion of project goals.

    · Create and continuously update marketing procedures and all associated documentation.

    · Create and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.

    · Plan, coordinate and organize UTAK’s marketing campaigns, events, and industry conferences:

    o Attend industry conferences; track and report on effectiveness and value of opportunities (ROI).

    o Develop event management tools to track goals to assure deadlines are met.

    o Coordinate deadline changes with all vendors

    o Plan, attend, troubleshoot and track the effectiveness of UTAK’s presence at industry conferences

    o Develop and deliver post-conference reports.

    · Manage Collection of data related to industry market trends and indicators of major customer activity within the industry

    · Monitor web traffic and the performance of the marketing analytics and prepare monthly reports.

    · Create and continuously update product marketing documentation

    · Organize, manage, and report online marketing metrics and brand presence initiatives

    · Create and manage customer satisfaction and product specific surveys

    o Collect data from surveys and present in dashboard formats

    · Develop and report marketing metrics such as return on marketing investment, incremental sales, cost per lead, SEO traffic, and Google Analytics Landing Page performance for optimization and conversion of social media and tradeshow traffic

    · Collect and formalize UTAK product performance and customer satisfaction data.

    o Control and create records and visual representations of product performance and create record of marketing contacts for future strategic campaigns and for future projects

    · Contact customers and industry partners to gather information for UTAK marketing use.

    · Review the collection of data related to industry market trends and indicators of major customer activity within the industry.

    o Identify new product ideas.

    · Create and manage customer satisfaction and product specific surveys.

    o Collect data from surveys and present in dashboard formats.

    · Collect and formalize UTAK product performance and customer satisfaction data.

    · Contact customers and industry partners to gather information to communicate to UTAK marketing and R&D team.

    · Develop proactive recommendations to resolve or avoid problems.

    · Deliver regular and reliable attendance and functionality.

    · Comply with UTAK’s policies, procedures, quality standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as well as safety and environmental regulations.

    · Support UTAK’s culture and strategic initiatives.

     

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    To perform the job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the following education, experience, knowledge, competencies and skills:

    Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge:

    • · High School Diploma/GED Certificate; marketing experience desirable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

      · Strong sales and research experience or education.

      · Comprehensive understanding of UTAK products and industry terminology in order to effectively communicate UTAK product information and capabilities to customers and prospects alike.

      · Basic understanding of budgeting.
