Utilization Review/Quality Assurance Assistant

This position is responsible for reviewing patient documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal Home Health and Hospice guidelines. Responsible for ensuring appropriate ICD-10 coding and sequencing while working with clinical staff to clarify documentation and data integrity, as well as, the integrity and consistency of OASIS documentation. Assists in the development and implementation of agency wide performance improvement program, compliance program, and backup for teammates.

This is a developing position that is expected to grow along with the Agency’s growth and has the potential to be a hybrid partially remote position for the right person.

Must have excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills! Requires experience with Microsoft Outlook, Work & Excel.

MEDICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Home Health, hospice, acute care, and/or skilled nursing facility experience preferred. Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm -

Management experience preferred.
