    Job Description

    The Fund Reconciliation + Reorg Analyst, reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Operations, will be responsible for the accuracy of mutual fund and ETF balances on our recordkeeping platform. The Fund Reconciliation + Reorg Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing documentation related to corporate actions and take the necessary steps to post changes accurately and timely.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for retrieving reconciliation reports, analyzing exposure, researching root cause, taking steps to resolve, and preventing reoccurrences
    • Record details of performed research and communication with other departments, and continue pursuing action until issue is resolved
    • Communicate any issues with management timely in order to achieve desired results
    • Responsible for understanding how to read corporate action notices and take action to post accurately and timely to our recordkeeping platform
    • Responsible for serving as a key point of contact for clients, advisors, and internal departments regarding recordkeeping positions and reorganizations
    • Having a solid understanding of company policies, practices, and service standards to ensure appropriate expectations are set and met with internal and external clients
    • Review and answer inquiries through email or ticketing system

    401K KNOWLEDGE - Working knowledge and 401k rules and regulations in regards to requirements mutual fund trading, trade settlement, reconciliations, and corporate actions.

    CUSTOMER FOCUS - Keeps internal and external customers in mind at all times. Proactively address any issues related to the accuracy of our records.

    ORGANIZING - Capable of managing multiple clients and priorities, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment with frequently changing priorities

    COMMUNICATION - Use of appropriate and effective language used for a given situation and actively engages in conversations to understand others’ message

    INTEGRITY - Ability to develop and ensure high standards of quality control that promote accuracy and accountability and minimize operational risk.

     

    SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

    • 1-3 years of experience in mutual fund operations
    • Solid understanding of retirement industry terms
    • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
    • Ability to work with and assist other associates in meeting common goals
    • Excellent follow through and communication through email and phone
    • Work independent of direct supervision
    • Intermediate MS Excel knowledge
    • Interest in future leadership preferred
