We provide secure, high-quality language solutions in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.

    We are seeking Ukrainian Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Ukrainian, spoken widely in Ukraine and global diaspora communities, is a priority Eastern European language often required for asylum, refugee, and immigration cases.

    Responsibilities

    Provide real-time Ukrainian ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.

    Deliver interpretation with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration, asylum, and legal settings.

    Maintain strict confidentiality under USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.

    Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.

    Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.

    Qualifications

    Native or near-native fluency in Ukrainian and English.

    2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, or government preferred).

    Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.

    Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
