Job Description: Our client is seeking an Azure DevOps Specialist with Docker/Kubernetes experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and on-premise infrastructure
Purpose: • Monitor availability and performance of production systems • CI/CD Owner • Support security compliance activities • Technical liaison with customer IT for new account setup, configuration, and ongoing troubleshooting • Support agile development / SCRUM practices • Collaborate with fellow team members, project management and business stakeholders • Collaborate with team for unit testing, continuous integration practices, code reviews/pair programming, internal tool usage, technical roadblock mitigation and process improvements • Communicate and work with SCRUM team on estimates and daily progress • Responsible for adhering to coding standards and approved technologies
Skills: • Azure DevOps • Docker/Kubernetes • Infrastructure experience • Experience with hardware setup (Windows and iOS-based platforms) • Development experience (C# preferred) • Experience with high availability systems on Azure • Creating CI/CD and Continuous Deployment with Azure DevOps • Solid understanding of network administration and underlying concepts • Experience with Docker • Experience with Kubernetes • Experience troubleshooting production issues • Working knowledge of databases (MS SQL/No SQL) • Experience deploying Dockerized applications to AKS or similar environment • Experience working with Azure hosted microservices • Experience managing and securing Azure Blob storage • Experience setting up and managing Azure SQL Server • Experience working with SQL databases (T-SQL, RDBMS concepts). NoSQL is a plus. • PowerShell scripting • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Understands prioritization and risk mitigation within a production environment context • Strong communication skills
Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field. • Azure Certification a plus • Docker/Kubernetes experience preferred • Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and on-premise infrastructure
