Job Description

 Property Management firm has a temp need for a senior accountant. 

• Supports more than 15 separate HOA's. 
• Oversee payables for all companies and will actually code and enter AP invoices for all companies. They have an AP person who actually processes payments but this person will place checks in internal mailboxes and mail out payables.
• Adhere to contracts for projects including tracking and accruing for progress payments
• Manage all month-end closing activities for each company
• Post accruals and journal entries for each company
• All General ledger reconciliation and analysis for each company
• Financial statement preparation for each company.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting - preferred
• 5 or more years of similar experience.
• Proficiency in ERP system such as Yardi.
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, v/h lookups.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must work well in a quiet, conservative environment.
