What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an experienced Large/wide format operator to join our printing team. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Large/wide format printers and related equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. You’ll be organized and great at prioritizing, organizing, and planning orders to see each job through completion and be able to meet deadlines. You’ll play a pivotal role in Ultimax’s continued growth and success!

Day to day you will:

Run 2 flatbed and 1 Roll to Roll printers, including setting up and calibrating according to job specifications.

Monitor print jobs to ensure quality and consistency throughout the production process.

Maintain organization with multiple projects, prioritize workflow, adhere to timelines, and meet deadlines

Load and unload materials, such as vinyl, paper, and fabric, into the printing equipment.

Observe machines in operation and make adjustments as needed

Identify workable production solutions when troubleshooting

Collaborate with graphic designers and production team members to ensure accurate color matching and print quality.

Maintain inventory of printing supplies and materials, and reorder as needed.

Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Keep accurate records of production activities, including job details and materials used.

Assist with other production tasks and projects as needed.

Your Background:

To be successful in this role you likely have:

Previous experience operating wide format printers or similar printing equipment

Knowledge of printing technologies, including inkjet and UV printing, and RIP software.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.

High school diploma or higher
