Now Hiring: Skilled Sonographer – Ultrasound/Vascular (Nights)
Strong background in general and breast ultrasound, is RDMS-certified, and is comfortable operating independently in a high-acuity hospital environment.
Shift: Thursday – Sunday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (10-hour shifts, 4 days/week)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/Gyn, and breast imaging
Operate sonographic equipment independently and ensure high-quality imaging
Accurately identify and differentiate between normal and abnormal/pathologic findings
Document clinical history and relevant findings to support diagnostic accuracy
Maintain daily operations of the sonography lab, including patient scheduling, equipment upkeep, and quality assurance
Collaborate with radiologists and the medical team to ensure timely communication of findings
Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures as needed (biopsy experience is a plus)
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program (CHEA or USDOE recognized)
RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/Gyn required
At least 1 year of professional sonography experience (2 years preferred)
Breast ultrasound experience is required; certification preferred but not mandatory
Prior exposure to high-risk or complex patient populations preferred
Must successfully pass a pre-employment health screening
