Duties
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per provider orders
• Prepare and position patients for procedures
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Ensure image quality and patient safety
• Document findings in the electronic medical record
• Assist radiologists with procedures as needed
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Adhere to VA and ARDMS standards

Requirements
• ARDMS registered or ARRT in Sonography
• Active state license
• BLS certification
• One year recent hospital ultrasound experience
• Experience in abdominal, OB, vascular, or general ultrasound
• Ability to pass federal background and credentialing
