    On-call shifts can be picked up if desired but are not required.

    Job description:

    Vascular Tech U/S for Afterhours, 1600 - 0700. We need to have US Vascular coverage for any STAT Exams during those hours Monday Thru Thursday On Call from the hours mentioned for the month of June. They need minimum of 4 Vascular Scans The current Vascular tech is willing to train They need to perform a minimum of 4 Vascular scans to be able to do the exams on their own. The Technologist Must get RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) Certification ASAP June 1, 1330 (8 hr shift) June 2 - June 5 (Standby) June 7 -June 8, 1500 (8hr shift) June 9 - June 12 (Standby) June 16 - June 19 (Standby) June 23 - June 26 (Standby) June 28 - June 29 - 1500 (8Hr Shift)

    Qualifications:

    Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography,

    Ultrasound Technology, or a related field.

    Certification: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)

    certification in relevant specialties (e.g., ABD, OB/GYN, RVT) required. State licensure

    where applicable.

    BLS/CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

    Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred.

    Skills and Abilities:

    Proficiency in operating ultrasound machines and performing a variety of ultrasound

    exams.

    Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound imaging techniques.

    Strong patient communication and care skills, including the ability to explain procedures

    and address patient concerns.

    Attention to detail with the ability to assess and interpret ultrasound images accurately.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex imaging scenarios.

    Work Environment:

    Work is performed in a hospital, outpatient clinic, or imaging center.

    Requires standing for extended periods and physically assisting patients.

    Minimal exposure to radiation, with potential exposure to infectious diseases and body

    fluids.

    Shift/Hours:

    Full-time, part-time, and per-diem positions available.

    May require day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
