    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. The Ultrasonographer will work in a dynamic environment, potentially within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

    Duties

    • Perform comprehensive sonography examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular studies.
    • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assist in the identification of medical conditions.
    • Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
    • Monitor and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to interpret ultrasound results and contribute to patient management plans.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
    • Provide support during emergency medicine situations, including cardiac catheterization procedures when necessary.
    • Stay updated on advancements in sonography practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

    Years of Experience: 1 year(s)

    Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN*, ARDMS RVT, BLS

    Requirements

    • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent is preferred.
    • Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in various sonography techniques and diagnostic evaluations.
    • Knowledge of aseptic technique and ability to perform vital sign assessments.
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and emergency medicine protocols is advantageous.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

    Night 4x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:00)
