Job Details: Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Location: Oswego, New York – 13126 Duration: 8 Weeks Contract Shift: Day Shift (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM (30-minute lunch) Rotating weekend call (Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) shared among 6 sonographers 40 Hours per week Start Date: 03/16/2026 or later

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Ultrasound Technician for a well-compensated 8-week contract opportunity. This position offers competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and the chance to work within a collaborative radiology team in a respected healthcare system.

Position Responsibilities: The selected technologist will perform a full range of diagnostic sonographic examinations for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients. You will work closely with the Radiologist, who is ultimately responsible for the interpretation of exams.

The ideal candidate will: • Demonstrate strong knowledge of all sonographic procedures • Produce high-quality diagnostic images • Recognize and communicate findings effectively with the Radiologist • Be proficient with PACS systems • Utilize reporting sheets to assist in accurate documentation

Candidate Requirements: • 2+ years of Ultrasound Technician experience • ARDMS Certification (Required) • BLS – AHA Certification • COVID Vaccination Card • Strong technical skills and attention to diagnostic detail
