Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to Ob/Gyn procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Utilize aseptic techniques while conducting procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
• Analyze images for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and examination results in compliance with medical protocols.
• Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities.

Requirements

• Education and Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography - Required

Licensure/Certifications Mandatory:

• RDMS Registered or Registry Eligible
• BLS Certification
• 1-5 years previous experience - Preferred
• Registered in Sonography with 2 years of graduation from an accredited program in Sonography - Required
