Schedule:
Ultrasound: Weekday & Weekend Coverage (including holidays)
- ****Day: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Evening: 3:30pm – 00:00am
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PT/CT.
- Hold a current and valid ARRT (N) certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
- Have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV), radiopharmaceutical injections, and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Training provided as needed.
Duties: Shall be responsible for, but is not limited to:
- Shall provide MIT Ultrasound Technicians that independently operate ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of complex diagnostic ultrasound exams. Contractor personnel shall receive patients, explain method of procedure(s), position patients, select and set technical factors, set up and adjust accessory equipment, and document necessary images.
- Shall set up Ultrasound exam rooms assuring that supplies and other required equipment are present and available for exams.
- Personnel will also perform related clerical duties such as sending images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System, archiving images, post processing images, and case editing of computer request and reports. Contract personnel shall also maintain records and enter patient information using the Radiology Vista Package, and the Computerized Patient Record System.
