    Our fast growing, private clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated ultrasound technologist to join our team. In this position, you will be provided the opportunity to expand your knowledge and enhance your sonography skills.

    Position:

    Staff Sonographer

    Full time, Monday through Friday

    Job Responsibilities:

    Performs vascular duplex ultrasound examinations and provides preliminary interpretation of studies performed. Examinations performed may include, but are not limited to, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial exams, carotid exams, and abdominal aorta exams.

    Assisting provider with ultrasound guided vascular procedures.

    Carry out Quality Assurance protocols and Quality Improvement measures within the facility.

    Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.

    Qualifications:

    Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program or Radiologic Technology Program.

    Knowledge and skill in vascular ultrasound is preferred but not required.

    Vascular registry/certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or;

    Vascular registry eligible with registration required within 6 months of hire.

    Current RDMS registry or equivalent is preferred.

    Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g., continuing medical education in the specialty area(s) performed, higher education, research, staff training, etc.).

    Proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation and report generation.

    Experience:

    Minimum one year experience with vascular and general ultrasound preferred, but not required.

    Experience as required for registry in vascular technology/sonography by either ARDMS, ARRT or CCI.
