Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations.
• Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying theft or suspicious behavior.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.
• Proven experience in security roles or related fields is an advantage.
• CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
