We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable DCJS Certified, Licensed, Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their customers, & employees. This is a vital role in ensuring the protection and the security of all individuals, equipment and property on-site.

Duties:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to promote and ensure safety and security measures, deter and detect unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergency situations.
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Experience:

• Possess a valid Virginia DCJS Security Officer license.
• Basic knowledge of security officer duties and responsibilities.
• Familiarity with surveillance techniques, and access control preferred.
• Able to work nigh/overnight shifts.
• Prior experience in the military, law enforcement, or security field is a plus.
