Job Summary

We are urgently hiring dependable Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in the San Antonio area. In this role, you will maintain a safe and secure environment by protecting property, assets, and visitors, and preventing security risks through vigilance and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has prior security or public safety experience, strong judgment, and a high level of integrity. Applicants must be reliable, have open availability, and be willing to pick up additional shifts as needed. A personal vehicle is required for transportation to and from job sites.

We offer bi-weekly pay and competitive pay and training. There may be options to pick up an additional shift/s temporarily or permanently. You must have reliable transportation to and from work. Pay is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview. Merit-based increases are available annually based on performance.

Responsibilities

Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility

Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility

Implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and property

Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns

Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Conduct thorough security checks and inspections to identify potential risks or hazards

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred

Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures

Excellent written verbal communication skills for effective incident reporting and customer interactions

Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations with professionalism and tact

Attention to detail and strong observational skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of alertness

Reliable transportation (personal vehicle preferred) is required.
