    WHO WE ARE

Our mantra is simple: Serve and Inspire.

There are over one billion people in the world without access to electricity, a fundamental contributor to health, education, and gender inequality, along with virtually every other major global challenge. Our team is committed to remediating energy poverty by developing innovative and globally-relevant technologies to provide clean and affordable power.

From our weekly Show and Tell team meetings to Bring Your Pet to Work Mondays, we aim to redefine the concept of “work” by focusing on empowerment as an integral part of our day-to-day operations. Our diverse team has roots all over the world from Guatemala to Switzerland and forms one vibrant community at our Harlem, New York headquarters.

We're also proud to have a world-class advisory board as a part of our network, including Professor Lei Zuo of Virginia Tech and engineers who have worked at leading companies like NASA, AECOM, and Samsung. Uncharted Power is also supported by a diverse pool of investors. Institutional investors include the Disney Accelerator, Kapor Capital, and Magic Johnson Enterprises. We are also backed by family offices from Sub-Saharan Africa and angel investors, including NBA players and executives from Intel and VMWare.
