Position Overview
SOAZ - Req #8025 - AZDOR - Taxpayer Services is seeking a Unclaimed Property Specialist 1 to join our team. This is a hybrid role where the selected candidate will work onsite at 1600 W. Monroe St., Phoenix, AZ 85007 every Monday (or the next business day if Monday is a holiday), with additional onsite days as needed.
This position serves as the first point of contact for Unclaimed Property inquiries, taking ownership of customer calls, providing solutions, and supporting document control functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manning the Unclaimed Property Hotline
Answer and manage inbound calls in a timely manner.
Follow call center scripts when addressing inquiries.
Identify customer needs, research issues, and provide effective solutions.
Document Control
Sign for incoming registered or certified mail.
Sort and distribute mail.
Produce and maintain digital copies of documents for record retention.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (40 hrs/week)
