    Our Visa internship program occurs during the summer months only

    Payments are changing with new players experiences and expectations. Over half of Visa’s volume is now digital and many market trends are affecting how Visa and our clients do business. For that reason the Product team is focused on a holistic product strategy that allows Visa to ship products faster that are more relevant to the local markets in which Visa does business. The organization is at the forefront of thinking and working differently at Visa particularly as we transform how we design build and ship products globally for the future.

    This role is ideal for someone who wants to be an entrepreneur or understand how start-ups work from the front line and is ready to help a start-up grow inside the global Visa organization. You are disciplined detail-oriented and creative. You learn fast and are a persuasive resourceful teammate. You’ll have to think on your feet ask the right questions and get a lot done quickly.

    You will be responsible for building and/or enriching existing APIs and product features. You will work in close partnership with Visa’s clients tech enablers and BNPL Fintechs in building innovative and customer focused UX and product offerings. You will have tremendous opportunity to bring innovative use cases to life at scale in one of the fastest growing areas in Seller and Buyer Solutions. You will work on local solutions tailored to solve the needs of clients in one or more of the 200 countries Visa operates.

    Note: Specific assignments will depend on upon your skills sets interest location and team’s needs. Job duties and projects could include:

    • Innovate on point-of-sale lending opportunities leveraging assets in our ecosystem based on deep customer insights and a strong understanding of the future of global payments
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Platform and API product strategy that feeds into product roadmap
    • Define product and customer experience with executable business requirements and user stories while managing scope of each release cycle
    • Create and manage global product roadmaps and prioritization of key product features
    • Develop client specific solutions and identify gaps and build enhancements in new product releases
    • Support product pricing and develop client specific business cases through business model analysis and data analysis to generate actionable intelligence
    • Define some of the key processes of the product working with various cross-functional teams (Legal Marketing Sales & Technology)
    • Develop and maintain GTM assets - sales/marketing materials workshop materials client specific presentations API and implementation guides and FAQs
    • Developing net new use cases working alongside with fintechs and 3rd party solution providers
    • Support international expansion of product with clients
    • Research competitive alternatives and do a value and capability comparison in priority markets
    • Assess current strategies and identify growth accelerators in priority markets
    • Prepare issues and risks and develop action plans for key product priorities QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications
    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science CS Human Cognitive Interaction IS IT user Experience User Interface Design or a related field graduating December 2022or later
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)
    • Strong communications skills - clear and concise written and spoken communications and communications that demonstrate professional judgment Preferred Qualifications
    • Outstanding executive communication skills (verbal and visual) with an ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to correlate data and trends to business drivers while thinking big and leading executive messaging; utilize data and metrics to communicate needs with ease
    • Entrepreneurial proactive and operates under minimal supervision: high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity; efficient with limited resources
    • Passionate about what you do and fired up about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader
    • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
