    Marketing Intern- The Underground Chicago & The Underground Cocktail Club

    GENERAL OVERVIEW

    Join our amazing team! We are seeking 2-3 incredible interns who love the Chicago nightlife scene and want to learn the inner workings from a marketing/branding perspective!

    Our Marketing Intern will assist the marketing department in order to develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies to meet our three properties-- The Underground and The Underground Cocktail Club-- goals and objectives.

    This internship pays $15.80/hour.

    SUMMARY of RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Main Activities:

    Maximum of 15 hours/week

    Must be BASSET Certified within 30 days of employment

    Assist in-venue with social, content, videos

    Collateral, brochure, and program distribution

    Make/maintain contact with local businesses, and concierge

    Filter all marketing/promotions requests

    Assist with event planning and special projects

    Create a weekly/monthly calendar of community events (store openings, charities, conferences, fairs, festivals, premiers, etc.) to be submitted to Marketing Coordinator

    Be a positive ambassador for The Underground and The Underground Cocktail Club at all times when in public.

    Maintain a high level of professionalism and personal presentation

    Will be present at times below (approximately 15 hours/week)

    Available to attend/work events on nights and weekends

    Work Rules/Unacceptable Performance: The following are grounds for disciplinary action and/or termination.

    Dishonesty, theft, or commission of any crime in the establishment, including removal of company property without proper authorization.

    Being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol while on the job. Possession and/or distribution of illegal drugs or weapons.

    Careless performance of duties, including failure to maintain established standards, requirements, and responsibilities as described above.
