FULL-TIME SOFTWARE DEVELOPER FOR UNI-POINT, LLC.

We are a small managed service provider and operate as an outsourced IT department for small to medium businesses. For over 20 years, we have been building custom business applications for our clients to solve their business needs and increase productivity. You will be working with a small team of developers to develop and support several business applications. If you like learning new technology and being actively involved in the entire software development life cycle, you are exactly what we need.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with a team to code and test new software features for web applications
• Debug programs independently; determine the root cause and fix the problem
• Web API development
• UI Feature development
• Participate in technical design and contribute insights and ideas
• Write reusable code and libraries
• Participate in daily team meetings
• Manage your schedule and meet performance goals

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience
• Familiarity with ASP.NET
• Experience working with JavaScript, preferably Typescript
• Comfortable with one or both of VB.NET, C#
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Demonstrate a continuous-improvement mindset and commit to mastering our agile practices
• Must be able to keep on task and meet performance goals
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and external business partners
• A desire to work on multiple technologies and platforms.

Ideal candidates will also have experience in one or more of the following.

• MVC / Webforms
• Azure Devops
• GIT
• Jira
• Familiarity with SQL Reporting Services and designing new reports
• Previous experience writing unit tests
