SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer is responsible for supporting internal UniPro Departments and external Member partners in creating layouts, logos, marketing concepts, packaging, POS, presentations, collateral, etc., in both traditional print and digital media.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Direct collaboration with internal department personnel to develop Creative Briefs detailing project scope, objectives, target audience, required materials, and timelines. The Graphic Designer provides input on direction and content.
Creates graphic components and layouts including corporate identity, marketing & sales support (ex. brochures, flyers, advertisements, emails), event promotion, vehicle graphics, exhibits & displays, original logo/brand designs, packaging, point-of-sale, presentations, etc.
Coordinates with third-party vendors for the production of small- and large-format printed materials.
Communicates directly with appropriate internal staff personnel to determine purpose, goals, and budget parameters of graphic design projects, including preferred mediums, target audiences, timelines, and cost estimates.
Creates artwork, designs, photo retouch and print pre-press files required for the materials involved in marketing and creative concepts, e.g., logos, brochures, sales flyers, annual calendars and planners, advertisements, communications campaigns, email design, catalogs, forms, presentation graphics, and exhibit graphics, etc.
Source, arrange and supervise material production with third-party service vendors and printers.

Reports directly to: Manager Creative Services
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS
Internal contact with personnel from all internal UniPro departments.
External contact with Sales % Marketing contacts at Member companies and third-party production vendors, industry specialists and associates.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
May require occasional out-of-state travel to attend UniPro Conferences, workshops, and participation in webinars.
Assists and participates in special projects assigned by the Manager, Creative Services, and Executive Vice Presidents of Marketing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communications or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3-year work history in graphic design. Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere) using applied design principles required. Applicant should be experienced with designing for 4-color process and Spot-color printing. Must be competent in working within Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and possess proficiency in developing slideshow presentations using PowerPoint. Working knowledge of HTML structure in creating responsive email layouts a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Light to moderate travel, including out-of-town, overnight stays will be necessary on occasion.
