    SUMMARY

    The Member Invoice Tracking (MIT) Representative contributes to UniPro's overall goal to enhance member income through collection, application and reconciliation of allowance payments.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Prepares collection reports (monthly or quarterly) for accurate presentation to Suppliers for their review and response. Records responses into the Tracking System. Maintains detailed logs in Excel of activity and progress. Generates and edits Member reports that provide updates and feedback regarding their invoice submissions.

    • During each bi-weekly close, reviews payment entries for, but not limited to, proper member coding and invoice number usage, especially for redistributor invoices, in order to improve information that not only posts into the Tracking System but also is used across systems for reporting.

    • Utilizes Tracking System functionalities, including auto notes and auto scrubbing, among others, to streamline data processing and report preparation.

    • Within future Billing & Tracking System, loads contract rates and exclusions at the item level. Reviews contracts for accuracy and reconciliation of related invoices and supplier payments. Works with Procurement on contract questions and interpretations, as needed.

    • Alerts B2B/IT personnel regarding data integrity issues concerning member data transmissions.

    SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED

    Directly reports to the Departmental Vice President, Member Reporting.

    INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS

    Most internal contact is with Purchasing and Accounting/Finance personnel.

    External communication will occur with representatives of UniPro-approved Suppliers and UniPro Member personnel.

     

    OTHER FUNCTIONS

    • The MIT Representative will be required, from time to time, to assist with related tasks or projects that are necessary for meeting overall goals as stipulated by Management.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience of 4 years, during which Microsoft Excel was used to research and analyze detailed data, preferably contract review and reconciliation. Proven analytical ability with an intermediate, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Must be able to demonstrate an ability to learn effectively. AS/400 experience a plus. Incumbent must possess the ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral formats. Must demonstrate proven organizational and follow-through skills, and be results-oriented, with excellent customer service skills.
