    Job Description

    Uniglobal is a Third-Party Administration firm (TPA) providing retirement plan administration, compliance, and consulting for employer-sponsored retirement plans. With over 30 years in the industry, Uniglobal continues to provide excellent customer service by crafting goal-specific, client-focused retirement plan solutions.

    The Sales Development Representative is responsible for broadening relationships with financial industry professionals and other relevant authorities. They will proactively reach out to business prospects to identify opportunities, nurture leads, and close meetings. On a broader scale, they’ll work closely with our sales team to develop plans to achieve company sales objectives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Generate new sales opportunities and nurture warm prospects through outbound efforts
    • Schedule calls and meetings for sales consultants to attend
    • Respond to inbound inquiries and literature requests
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Uniglobal’s services to appropriately identify prospect needs and suggest solutions
    • Coordinate with sales consultants and managers to achieve company sales objectives
    • Use the company’s CRM, sales, and lead generation software solutions to build and manage a pipeline of prospects
    • Engage sales executives to create a seamless customer experience and effectively move prospects through the sales pipeline
    • Serve as the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps
    • Anticipate opportunities by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
    • Report to sales manager with results as requested

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree OR at least 2 years of work experience in a sales or customer service role
    • Ability to discuss industry trends and retirement solutions with professionals
    • Comfortable spending long hours calling potential clients
    • Exceptional listening and communication skills
    • Motivation to independently research and develop industry knowledge
    • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
    • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
    • Proficient in standard office technology (O365, Outlook, etc.)
    • Strong organizational, time management, and professional skills
