    JOB SUMMARY:

    Provides counseling services under the Mental Health License as required. Assures adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, and federal regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Positively represents the organization and promotes Rimrock’s Mission to the community.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

    THERAPEUTIC SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Conduct family and individual counseling.
    2. Conduct and observe ancillary groups as assigned.
    3. Provide relief counseling as needed throughout the organization.
    4. Conduct inpatient and outpatient assessments as assigned.
    5. Prepare timely and accurate records on patients and maintain substantial compliance on medical records audits. Assures all records meet state and CARF standards.
    6. Attend all scheduled staff meetings.
    7. Develops and implements the patients’ Individualized Treatment plans.
    8. Must participate in the multidisciplinary team approach to provide patients with quality care.
    9. Other duties as assigned.

     

    QUALITY IMPROVEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Assures that information is collected, organized, reported and used to improve the quality of systems and services.
    2. Obtains feedback from patients regarding their perceptions of the service provided to them and utilizes this information to improve service delivery.
    3. Assures that resources are allocated in accordance with the priorities and plans established by the Strategic Plan.
    4. Recognizes and appropriately reports to supervisor areas within scope of responsibility that fall outside the quality parameters.
    5. Performs self-quality monitoring in order to develop and execute plans to meet established goals.

     

    CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Supports organization’s customer service initiative; strives for service excellence by seeking challenges and turning them into opportunities.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral or Human Services field. Master’s degree in counseling field required. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a recognized healthcare facility. Specialized training in addiction treatment.

     

    CERTIFICATE OR LICENSE: Must be licensed in the State of Montana as a LCPC or LCSW.

     

    SKILLS: Clinical supervision, therapeutic skills, individual and group therapy, scheduling and coordination. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Outlook.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is indoors in an office environment with moderate noise.  Intermittent physical effort involving lifting of up to 25 pounds, walking and stooping is required.  A typical workday involves sitting, frequent use of a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, and talking and hearing, approximately 70% of the time.  Approximately 30% or less of the time is spent standing.  Normal vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB LOCATIONS: Involves everyday risk or discomfort requiring normal safety precautions in an office setting, meeting room and patient care areas.  Work may involve mental and emotional stress. Some driving/traveling required. Will work primarily in main facility.

    KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                  

    • Plan, organize, and direct activities and workers concerned with the construction of underground structures and systems
    • Interpret and explain plans to workers and subcontractors
    • Train employees in the proper use of tools and monitor their activities
    • Take actions to deal with the results of delays or emergencies at construction site
    • Ensure that all aspects of the work are done in a safe manner
    • Ensure the quality of work is in compliance with project specifications, safety codes, and other regulations
    • Makes appropriate recommendations as to materials, equipment, and manpower requirements
    • Prepare and submit progress and cost tracking reports
    • Confer with personnel, superintendents, and subcontractors to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction
    • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management
    • Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc.

     

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Knowledge of materials, methods, the tools involved in construction, and related PPE
    • Knowledge of relevant equipment and safety policies and procedures to comply with company policy, local, state or federal laws
    • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
    • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
    • Ability to motivate, develop, and direct people as they work
    • Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
    • Ability to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills required

     

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 

    • High School degree or equivalent
    • 6 to 8 years underground work experience which provided a thorough working knowledge of all phases of underground excavation methods and techniques
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience supervising others
