    Job Summary:

    As a restaurant host, your primary responsibility is to greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive and friendly atmosphere. Key duties include managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and maintaining an organized waiting list.

    Responsibilities:

    Greeting Guests: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, assist with coats, and guide them to their tables.

    Reservation Management: Keep track of reservations, manage the reservation system, and ensure timely seating for guests with reservations.

    Seating Arrangements: Efficiently organize seating arrangements to optimize the flow of the dining area and accommodate guest preferences.

    Waitlist Management: Maintain a waiting list during peak hours, provide accurate wait times, and keep guests informed about their status.

    Communication: Effectively communicate with restaurant staff, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and a positive dining experience.

    Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.

    Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the host stand and waiting area clean and organized, contributing to an overall inviting atmosphere.
