Loan Officer position. Located in beautiful Rockport, one of the most desirable places to live on the Texas Gulf Coast. Known for hunting, fishing, and the arts, Rockport is a great place for a stellar individual to become a community leader representing this well-established bank.

The bank's Loan Officer role:

• Solicit, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of routine consumer, residential, equipment, SBA, commercial building and business loans in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures;
• Develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers; and promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
• Assist in attaining established Bank, region and branch goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Analyze financial statements
• Cash flow analysis
• Knowledge of Standard procedures in commercial loan origination, underwriting, processing, closing, funding, and servicing loans
• Knowledge of credit instruments, contracts, collateral documents, real estate/business/commercial law
• Problem solving skills
• Customer service skills
• Self-starter initiative
• Dependable transportation
• Ability to attend after hour community events
• Written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Business development skills
• 3-5 years of commercial/consumer lending experience preferred
• Background in Accounting or Finance preferred
