POSITION SUMMARY - ACCREDITATION, ADMISSIONS AND TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER
We are searching for a decisive, driven person to manage the accreditation, admissions and the talent acquisition function for United Aviate Academy (UAA), a new flight school in Goodyear, AZ.
The primary purpose of this position is the AAT Manager will be tasked with managing the accreditation process, the admissions process and talent acquisition for UAA. This position will also build a continuous improvement processes, including department inspections and policy review, revision and implementation. Additionally, this position will lead our admissions department as we examine, define, and conduct our admissions process and promote our school to prospective students and their guardians. The AAT Manager will help establish and update our procedures and criteria, work with potential students to determine their eligibility, and oversee the admissions process as we evaluate applications and issues decisions. Last, this position will lead talent acquisition efforts for potential students attending UAA.
The tasks associated with the position will include but are not limited to collecting proofs of compliance, documenting adherence to established standards, assisting with staff inspections, advising on standards updates, and all other duties as assigned by the Director of Academy Services. The AAT Manager will report directly to the Director of Academy Services.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
TYPICAL TASKS – ACCREDITATION
· Manage the departmental accreditation process as mandated by the ACCSC, maintaining accreditation compliance documentation to include collecting and uploading proofs of compliance.
· Prepare annual reports, attend necessary training, oversee annual, CSM reviews, coordinate and oversee mock and full onsite assessments, and attend the full Commission review hearings.
· Represent the department at accreditation meetings and training functions, providing training where necessary, reviewing and suggesting revisions, develop and implement agency written directives
· Schedule, conduct and document agency inspections, reviews and analysis
_ _ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
· Serve on department committees as necessary and on occasion, work with other city departments.
· Helping UAA establish, examine, alter, and explain admissions guidelines, processes, and requirements.
· Assisting in the admissions decision-making process as student applications are evaluated and accepted or denied.
· Providing students, parents, and guardians with information regarding admissions requirements and processes, financial aid applications, enrollment issues, or other procedures.
· Engaging in the recruiting process by planning, coordinating, and overseeing promotional events, campus tours, student interviews, and other admissions activities.
· Reviewing and interpreting student information, planning extracurricular activities, manage a monthly fun calendar for students in coordination with Academy Services Manager and keep a pulse on all things student related outside of flight operations
· Communicating changes, statistics, and other information to the UAA leadership team.
· Directing, hiring, developing and coaching accreditation, admissions, and recruiting staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, BEHAVIORS
· Ability to accurately document compliance activities to demonstrate compliance with applicable standards.
· Considerable knowledge and ability to use correct grammar, vocabulary, and spelling. Attention to detail, while appropriately balancing accuracy and speed valuing compliance & ethical behavior.
· Understanding of statistics, admissions requirements and procedures, school funding, and financial aid application processes.
· Good database management skills with the ability to maintain and organize files; analyze and interpret information surrounding accreditation, admissions and recruitment.
· Ability to plan and organize a variety of administrative activities
· Ability to develop and deliver effective training materials to faculty and staff within area of professional specialty.
· Knowledge of continuous quality improvement management principles and practices.
· Ability to synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and prepare and present reports effectively with recommendations where necessary.
· Great understanding of the recruiting process, specifically potential flight students and Certified Flight Instructors (CFI’s).
· Strong interpersonal, presentation, networking, and verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to travel to job fairs, training seminars, conferences, etc. approximately 40% travel.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, other agencies and associations, supervisors, and employees.
EXPERIENCE
· Four-year college degree in business administration or business-related field and considerable experience with the ACCSC accreditation process, the admission process and talent acquisition.
· Master’s degree in education or related field preferred.
· Must be able to pass a strenuous background investigation that includes credit checks.
