    Job Description

    KemperLesnik, a recurring winner of Chicago’s Best Places to Work award, is looking for Social Media Manager to join its multi-functional team of comms and brand activation pros.

    The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing B2B social media programs for large, highly-regulated, multinational organizations.

    Working closely with the agency’s PR teams, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for overall social media engagement – from strategy to execution. This person will also be responsible for ensuring that social media program objectives are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This includes steady monitoring, analyzing and reporting of conversations, activities, issues and insights.

    The Social Media Manager will have a deep understanding of digital platforms. He/she will also be a strong writer, not only in writing for social media but also in journalistic fashion adhering to the AP Style Guide.

    Candidates must be smart, diligent and organized – capable of making complex topics comprehensible for multiple audiences and diving deep into various industries to deliver _Powerful Results_®. Candidates must also be self-starters – there is no bureaucracy keeping talent in a box here at KL.

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism or other
    • 2-5 years of experience
    • Demonstrable knowledge of digital and traditional media
    • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
