OVERALL ROLE:

The machine operator position is responsible for the operation of the Plastic Injection Molding Machines.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

Inspect products for conformance to specified standards and communicate with Quality Control concerning nonconforming product

Package product per established methods

Know the quality requirements of each job assigned

Understand the basic workings and safety features of equipment and machinery being used

Maintain cleanliness in work area

Perform housekeeping duties as assigned

Assist in the training of other personnel as needed

Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Reading, writing, and speaking English

Basic computer skills

Good manual dexterity

Good eyesight (corrective lenses are acceptable)

Able to follow instructions, written and verbal

Basic knowledge of hand tools and their uses

Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment

Capable of training others as needed

Physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting

Able to regularly lift and/or move 55 lbs.
