  • Responsibilities

    SWING SHIFT: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 3AM TO 12 MIDNIGHT

    The role of the Team Lead Warehouse is to oversee the swing shift operation of assigned warehouse function/department(s) to ensure compliance with Codale Electric’s policies and procedures through safely verifying product quantity, quality, and efficiency.

    • Lead assigns personnel on shift to meet productivity and efficiency targets

    • Completes tasks as assigned and resolves day-to-day problems

    • Trains and cross-trains new employees in various job functions

    • Performs computer system input

    • Conducts accuracy/quality audits by verifying product quantity/quality

    • Performs and supports all job requirements as directed by supervisor and/or manager, assists with swing shift workers if necessary.

    • Starts meetings and other duties as assigned

    • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow

    • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency

    • Addresses complaints and resolves problems

    • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies

    • Maintains positive employee morale

    • Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; implements methods and proper use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock

    • Operates efficiently to increase productivity while maintaining an excellent level of safety and quality in the workplace

    • Actively trains and direct associates to get the most out of their skills and work toward continuous improvement

    • Assigns duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lb.

    • Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions

    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently

    • Basic PC knowledge

    • Perform different job functions within the organizations warehouse department

    • Must be able to follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior

    • Strong multitasking skills.

    • Able to work well in a team environment.

    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    • Ability to drive fork trucks and motorized pallet jacks.

    • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, grasping, pushing, pulling, vehicle operation, exposure to noise, frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50lbs.

    • Repeated standing, walking, typing, and keying

    • Ability to work safely and securely

    • Ability to plan and organize

    • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    • Must obtain BLCS certification within 120 days of hire and maintain training during employment

    • Unlicensed Assistive Personnel training or the training requirements will be waived if an employee demonstrates competency in the conten areas required by regulatory requirements; in the duties specific to their job and the patient population assigned

    • Is enrolled in a professional or practical nursing education program and has completed a fundamentals of nursing course; or

    • Was a professional nursing or practical nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure examinations in the past three (3) years; or

    • Is certified as a nursing assistant per state regulation; or

    • Is certified or has had formal training that meets the UAP curriculum; or

    • Has documented experience as a nurse assistant, emergency medical technician or surgical technician in the past three (3) years; or

    • Has proof of completion of UAP training program in Missouri within the last three (3) years which meets the requirements of this policy; or

    • Has completed a professional or licensed practical nursing program outside the United States and is awaiting the licensure examination in this country.

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

    • Previous mental health experience
