    Rogers is looking for an IT Asset Management Technician for our Oconomowoc location due to an internal promotion. The IT Asset Management Technician is a great entry level position to learn about our technology and grow within the organization.

    IT Asset Management Technician

    Summary:

    The IT Asset Management Technician is responsible for managing information technology’s assets, which can include hardware, software, licenses, and other technology resources throughout the equipment’s life cycle. The IT Asset Management position is responsible for managing inventory, procurement, deployment, and retirement of hardware.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Asset Tracking: Implementing systems and tools to track the lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal.
    • Procurement and Deployment: Ordering, receiving, and deploying new IT assets according to the organization’s needs
    • License management: Managing software licenses to ensure compliance and cost optimization
    • Data Security: Ensuring that sensitive data on IT assets are protected and secure
    • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize IT asset spending and reduce unnecessary expenses
    • Serve as the subject matter expert on IT hardware
    • Collaborate with other IT teams, leadership and departments to support their asset-related needs
    • Record asset information in the inventory management system(Microsoft Intune)
    • Troubleshoot steps in Microsoft Imaging Technology to improve the efficiency of the imaging process.
    • Streamline the deployment process to minimize time and effort spent at each site
    • Work with vendors to schedule and manage warranty repairs

    Education/Training Requirements:

    • Associates degree with two (2) years of IT experience in help desk, IT asset management, or related Computer Information Systems, OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
    • IT asset management experience preferred
    • Microsoft Intune Experience preferred but not required
    • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

    Hours:

    • M-F 8:00 am – 4:30pm
    • May have to take some calls after hours

    Location:

    • Oconomowoc, WI
    • Occasionally travel to our West Allis and Brown Deer locations
