  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY

    Conduct facility maintenance, inspect different equipment, and perform basic repairs or preventive maintenance when required.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conducting routine inspections of facility and equipment
    • Performing preventive maintenance
    • Handling basic repairs and maintenance
    • Detecting, identifying and repairing building issues, like basic problems with the building's electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
    • Ensuring all safety systems are functioning correctly, including Security, Fire Sprinklers and E-Lights
    • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
    • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
    • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
    • Maintain Building appearance, Paint, Grounds, Parking areas
    • Be involved with the Emergency Response Team
    • Snow Removal in the winter (Early Arrival)
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Required Skills:

    • Safe work habits
    • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
    • Capable to acquire a PIV and scissor lift certificate
    • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
    • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary
    • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
    • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
    • Experience performing routine maintenance
    • Strong organizational and follow up skills
    • Eye for detail
    • Professional presentation and attitude
    • Ability to maintain focus while working individually
    • Strong time management skills
