    POSITION PURPOSE: 

    The Supplier Relationship Manager, ClearVue is the primary point of contact within UNFI nationally, for a supplier doing business with UNFI Canada or its customers.  This position is responsible for the development, management and execution of existing and new reporting programs with our suppliers as part of the ClearVue partnership programs.  Functions as a supply chain professional with primary responsibility to the management of specific suppliers and their products on a national scale where a single point of contract is the standard operating procedure in the management of suppliers. 

    The position is also responsible for the consistent management and execution of all report maintenance and development as it relates to the Supplier Relationship Management team and Supply Chain team. Works closely with Supplier Management & Supply Chain teams to develop, execute and manage appropriate reporting tools that measure supplier performance against DC Capacity, Retained Income, Service Level, etc. The position communicates, implements, and manages reporting tools to effectively manage and drive profitability of the business.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: 

    Manage and/or identify and research current and potential ClearVue and Incentive suppliers

    • Negotiate ClearVue and Incentive Contracts
    • Assumes responsibility for development and implementation of ClearVue marketing strategies and policies.
    • Educates internal and external partners on features and benefits of the ClearVue Program.
    • Researches, analyzes and responds to business conditions that affect ClearVue Suppliers and marketing strategy.
    • Evaluates and monitors the satisfaction level of Suppliers participating in the ClearVue Program. Ensures effective ongoing communication with Suppliers to maintain high level customer retention.
    • Consults with IT on any technical issues incurred with the programs and facilitates necessary changes.
    • Regularly reviews SKU mix independently, and with cooperation of suppliers to ensure UNFI distribution centers stock the necessary items required with the marketplace.
    • Develops and manages all necessary reporting for the Supplier Management & Supply Chain teams to assist in driving the management and profitability of our supplier partners.
    • Develops and manages high-level reporting and presentation materials for senior leaders with extreme confidentiality on team performance and key company and team projects.
    • Performs other job duties as required

     

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent

     EXPERIENCE:

    • A minimum of five years of related progressive marketing, supply chain or brand management experience in natural food industry preferred.

     KNOWLEDGE:             

    • Understanding of Company products, services and competitor’s product lines
    • Understanding of market research techniques and models
    • Strong knowledge of statistics and related computer application and financial market indictors

     SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Strong project management skills
    • Solid leadership abilities
    • Organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft office products and Adobe Acrobat.
