UPM's rapidly growing Additive Manufacturing Sector is looking to add expereinced CNC Machinists to thier 3rd shift team. Hours are Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:30am.
AS A MACHINIST, YOU WILL:
- Serve as a subject matter expert of customer manufacturing specifications to create machine programming
- Set up, troubleshoot and operate machinery according to strict tolerances. Machines include Milling Centers and EDM.
- Demonstrate expertise in fixture design and tooling
- Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors
- Exercise strong problem-solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery
- Other duties as assigned

SKILLS NEEDED
- 2+ years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines
- Master operator of various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining
- Ability to design and create proper fixturing. Ability to proficiently set-up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-Cam, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers, Profilometers, etc.
- Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
- Ability to create and maintain updated work processes related to machining
- Familiar with warehouse, manufacturing or production planning environments
You should be proficient in:
- CAD/CAM
- Blueprint Reading
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
- EDM Machine (Wire)
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Micrometers
SALARY INFO:
$25 - $30 / HR
