United Performance Metals (UPM) is looking for its next entry-level team members dedicated to continuous improvement to join our Hamilton, Ohio Laser Cell team as Production Associates.

This role is an entry-level position where you will be introduced to the unique world of specialty metals and begin working with our Machine Operators to create high-quality parts that are being used to innovate our world. You will learn how to grind, wash, and pack parts, operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and tolerance measuring equipment. s.

Working Hours:

*Rotating 12-hour shifts from either 5:00am - 5:30pm (days) -OR- 5:00pm - 5:30am (nights). *

Week 1: 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off. Week 2: 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Following directions from Operators
• Grinding parts
• General fork truck operator
• Assures sufficient supply of goods/inventory control
• Pull material from stock
• Process orders
• Check all specified tolerances
• Package and prepare orders to be shipped
• Housekeeping
