    DESCRIPTIONThe Quality Engineer provides quality engineering and assurance to ensure products are produced to meet customer requirements and expectations. The quality engineer works in conjunction with other business and engineering disciplines using a cross-functional approach to ensure new/improved and current products and processes are in compliance with applicable quality management systems, and standards.

    NATURE OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead quality planning activities for new product release, design changes(experiments), and process changes to include verification and validation plans.
    • Identify waste and methods that can lead to leak/nonleak quality issues.
    • Prepares reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations for improvement.
    • Design and implement inspection methods, equipment, acceptance criteria and sampling plans
    • Ensure effective product engineering control and transfer to production including document creation and training of employees
    • Provide validation, sampling, and statistical analysis support to other functions in the organization
    • Lead Quality issue resolution by applying root cause methodologies
    • Manages calibration program, calibrates test equipment within capabilities and confirms measurement adequacy.
    • Reviews and recommends changes to the Quality Management System and associated documents, such as standard operating procedures/standard work.

    REQUIREMENTS- Qualified candidates will possess a B.S. Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial) and 3 to 5 years related experience

    • Strong LEAN experience.
    • Must be a hands-on with strong communication and computer skills.
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills.
    • Effective ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
    • An inquiring mind and passion for learning
    • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001
